Accompany children in their growth process to be protagonists of their own lives.

project activities

This project is developed in a "conventillo" in the neighborhood of La Boca. Here, the children receive their “snack” (milk and cookies) and dinner. They also receive school support when volunteers can assist them.

community context

La Boca is one of the most touristic neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. Despite this, it is one of the most vulnerable areas of the City of Buenos Aires. La Boca was one of the richest areas until a great epidemic took its population. Most of the people moved to the north of the city and this square was occupied by the poorest and middle class people. There are "conventillos", which are houses with many rooms for several families. The conditions of most of them are quite inefficient. Historically it was an area of European immigration. Currently they are immigrants from Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile. It is a mixture of colors, social classes and economic conditions.
