Which are the requirements?
The only requirement to participate in volunteering is to be over 18 years of age and pay a participation fee that varies according to the country, time and project you choose.
What types of projects are there?
- Short term: 1 to 5 months
- Long term: 6 to 12 months
- Workcamps: 1 to 4 weeks, fixed dates
What are the projects about?
We offer opportunities for volunteer projects in a wide variety of themes:
- Ecology and Environment
- education and recreation
- Older adults and disability
- Health
- Art and culture
- Social and community development
- Management of organizations
Why a participation fee?
The participation fee creates the conditions for the sustainability of the network that connects the various organizations both inside and outside the country. In this way, intercultural volunteer opportunities are guaranteed in local partner projects.
What does the participation fee cover?
- Preparation, accompaniment and mentoring seminar before, during and after volunteering and project management.
- Accommodation, food, local transportation, pocket money for volunteers of 6 months or more, medical insurance, initial training upon arrival (on-arrival training) and accompaniment during the project.
- In the case of a workcamp, the fee is normally very low and covers accommodation, food, local transport and accompaniment.
What the fee does not include are tickets, accident or civil liability insurance and visa or vaccination costs.
